We start off with a full inspection, looking for all sorts of clues. We notice smells, smudges, and smidgens left by the critter. Tell us what you've noticed - any little details can help. Clues help us answer the question "What's in YOUR attic?" sm
Is it a smell? Do you hear scratching noises? Perhaps the pitter-patter of little footsteps? Or is it some little presents left behind from a visitor? There are several types of clues left behind by the critter:
Smells
Can you describe the odor? Where is it coming from? How long have you smelled it? Has it gotten worse or better? Does the odor change from day to night? Is it always there or does it come and go?
Sounds
Can you describe the sound? Where is it coming from? How long have you heard it? Has it gotten louder or quieter? Does the sound change from day to night? Is it always there or does it come and go? Do you hear it more at certain times of the day?
Bits and Pieces
Are you finding little "gifts" left behind by some mysterious critter?
Clues
Is something different? Have you seen some odd evidence? DON'T clean things up - leave the crime scene for us to see, if you can.
Believe it or not, knowing whether you notice something only in the morning and night versus all day long can help us determine which critter we're searching for.
Regardless of whether it's Fur, Feathers, or Fangs - give CSI a call, we get 'em all! sm
